Letting Go

The Lord took me to Matthew 7:3-5 where it speaks that how can we pluck a speck out of our brother's eye when we ourselves have a log in our own eye.  The Lord showed me how I was trying to make myself look better than others.  I need to let go of the idea that I need to look better than someone else.  We are told in God's Word to think of others and their needs.  The focus should be on God and what He wants.
